Business Guide
Business guide of Ferizaj was realized within the project “Creation of tourist maps, book of businesses and website of businesses, tourism for the Municipality of Ferizaj”, by the Directorate for Economic Development and Tourism.
The book includes manufacturing and processing businesses in the municipality of Ferizaj. As such, it aims to present the business environment in the Municipality of Ferizaj, as well as to provide contact information for all businesses involved.

The Directorate for Economic Development and Tourism aims
- Improving the investment environment, stimulating productivity, creating conditions for attracting investors, providing support for the development of small and medium enterprises, encouraging innovative entrepreneurship;
- Facilitating the conditions for establishing new businesses, motivating businesses to create new jobs, creating conditions for acquiring knowledge and practical skills for independent work especially for the youth;
- Development of new products, creation of a local financial and administrative framework for granting subsidies and strengthening competition;
- Encouraging the application of new technologies in manufacturing in order to create added value and increase exports of the businesses of the Municipality of Ferizaj.
The development program of DEDT includes the following program measures

Ease of doing business
Since 2019, all categories of businesses operating in the territory of the Municipality of Ferizaj are exempted from municipal taxes. All services and consultations for the businesses of the Municipality of Ferizaj are oered in the municipal administration, specifically in the business center. The municipality aims to be the main actor in the promotion and development of businesses, by planning and implementing favorable policies, such as the reduction of bureaucratic procedures, the continuous improvement of the infrastructure, equal treatment and increasing transparency.
Investment Opportunities
As part of the measures in the package for the improvement of business climate, in 2019 the Municipality of Ferizaj made
a decision to remove the municipal tax for operating a business. Furthermore, the Municipality of Ferizaj on annual basis publishes a special list of municipal properties that are planned for lease for a period of up to 99 years. The Municipal Government remains committed at creating the best conditions for existing businesses, as well as potential future investors.
